Powerful Tools for Caregivers, Thursdays May 21 - Jun 25, 10:00 - 11:30 am - Online

This class series will meet online via Zoom, Thursdays, May 21 - June 25, 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Dates: May 21, 28, June 4, 11, 18, and 25

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a 6-week educational program that focuses on the needs of family caregivers of individuals with chronic conditions. Family caregivers develop a variety of self-care tools to:
• Reduce personal stress
• Change negative self-talk
• Communicate their needs to family members and healthcare providers
• Communicate more effectively in challenging situations
• Deal with difficult feelings
• Make tough caregiving decisions
Class participants also receive a copy of The Powerful Tools for Caregivers Workbook, developed specifically for the class. This is a free class for family caregivers of someone with a chronic illness and/or dementia.
