Tai Chi for Health

  • Wadsworth Library 24 Center Street Geneseo, NY, 14454 United States (map)

Mondays, 4-4:45pm | Jan. 5 – March 30 (no class on Jan. 19)

All Tai chi programs welcome people with all abilities. Movement is slow and gentle with consistent guidance from instructor as we progress. Except for Seated Tai chi, the classes will be taught standing, but students may also participate from a seated position (or a combination of sitting/standing as able.) Benefits: builds balance, flexibility, strength, immunity, organ health, while lowering stress/anxiety/blood pressure. Fun - the practice is called “playing tai chi.”

Class size is limited!

We ask for a suggested contribution of $25.00.

Sponsored by: Finger Lakes Caregiver Institute at Lifespan.
This program funded in part by Monroe County Office for the Aging, New York State Office for the Aging, US Administration on Aging, and Participant Contributions.
