Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD) became legal in New York on August 5th, becoming the 14th jurisdiction in the US where it is allowed. This presentation will review all the available End of Life Options in New York with a focus on Medical Aid in Dying. It will provide a general overview of MAiD, the NYS eligibility requirements and process, and how local healthcare systems are implementing it.
