Join Sarah, for an introduction to the Tai chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program. This evidence-based program, developed by Dr. Paul Lam, with the Tai chi for Health Institute, has been proven to reduce pain and stiffness associated with arthritis, and improve balance. Slow, gentle movements, with an emphasis on breathing, upright posture, keeping joints loose, imagining resistance, and weight transference. This is a one-time class that will introduce participants to the warm-ups and some of the basic forms of Tai chi.
