PDEV 777 Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities & Aging (Part of the Gerontology Certificate Program) Online via Zoom

This seminar will discuss ways in which aging impacts people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers.  We will identify different types of intellectual/developmental disabilities and cover the history of treatment of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We will highlight programs that address the needs and discuss techniques to better meet the needs of older adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their caregivers. (3 contact hours)

This class is part of the Lifespan/St. John Fisher Gerontology Certificate program. Open to all.
