Volunteer Opportuntities at Lifespan!

No matter what your age, you can become a Lifespan volunteer.

Lifespan's Open Volunteer Positions:

Seeking caring individuals to volunteer as Ombudsmen in area nursing and adult homes. Training and ongoing guidance provided!

Visit with an older adult once a month to help with bill paying/check writing, submitting insurance claims, balancing checkbooks. This is our Financial Management Program.

Are you good with facts and figures? Lifespan's Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) provides the opportunity to learn about Medicare and health insurance options for older adults. Your volunteer commitment is flexible, and we provide training and ongoing support.

Would you like to spend some time with a developmentally disabled older adult? We're looking for volunteers to help with recreational activities and to escort field trips. Aging Adults with Developmental Disabilities Program

Are you good with computers and people? Are you a good teacher? We are seeking volunteers to help women who have been out of the workforce to learn basic computer skills. Women in Transition Program

Become a Fraud Fighter volunteer! Lifespan's Consumer Fraud Prevention service needs volunteers to call older adults around the country to warn them about fraud and scams. Volunteer as little as 2 hours a week in our welcoming call center in the Top's Brighton Plaza.

Your congregation can join our Faith in Action/Partners in Caring program. We help congregations recruit volunteers to provide assistance for frail elders or persons with disabilities.
