"I have attended a variety of classes under her most able leadership. All of these were superbly organized and spoke directly to the subject at hand. Most importantly she led me through the difficult procedure of organizing a new resume, something I had not done in years. This included several one-on-one sessions at her office as well as numerous email communications. The value of this program for people such as myself cannot be underestimated. The level of professionalism displayed by JoAnne would translate into many dollars on the open market. In my 77+ years I have been associated as a consultant with concerns such as Snelling&Snelling and Wetterings&Agnew and JoAnne's professionalism probably exceed theirs. This is a great program that I sincerely hope will continue as it is structured today." Thank you for hearing me out. David Munro

"I am writing to let you know how much the Bridge Program has assisted me. I am a Lifespan Board Member and so I knew about the program but I had no idea how dynamic it truly is.  Both Joanne and Ida make each person there feel as if they are their only client. Although they have a room full of different personalities with different needs they are able to address the group as a whole while answering a specific question that may be proposed to them.  The job leads that they share are always unique and when a client wants to explore the possibility of getting the job they do all they can to get that person ready.  For those of us who have worked for many years we were not aware or ready for the changes in resume writing even interviewing and this program helps us not to be ashamed of  not knowing while preparing us to go out and seek a position."

"I want to tell you how much I'm enjoying the BRIDGES program that is being offered through Lifespan.  My personal feeling of worth at  the age of 69 has been renewed and rejuvenated, and I am encouraged and delighted with the help that has yielded 3 interviews and innumerable contacts for a part time job. My lumbar back disability has rendered me incapable of pursuing the two jobs that have been so meaningful to me in the last 23 years in New York State: working as a real estate broker and working as a registered nurse.  I trained long and hard for those jobs, and to be useless and unemployed--I don't even consider retiring--is a bad psychological 'trip' for me. Now there's wonder in each new day and the sun shines for  me again!"
